This project was created in a 48 hour work shop at Savannah College of Art and Design. The Spotify forest is a colorful interpretation of how playlist’s grow and people connect in the Spotify network. The beginning frame begins with colourful blobs that represent the different genres you can listen to on Spotify. These colorful abstractions come together to create a seed that represents Spotify. The camera movements will be cuts from frame to frame as well as simple pans and tilts. You will follow the seed as if it is falling into the ground and planting the first Spotify tree. The tree will grow up creating trees that represent different genres of music. There are many different genres of music but the genres represented in this spot will be Metal, Indie, Pop and Country. The characters will be tiny birds that will be designed to fit in their specific environment. You will follow trees growing with simple camera movements, more seeds will plant shown by quick cuts of more trees growing at different angles, birds eye, close ups of the ground as well as medium shots. The final logo reveal will be a pan up through the tops of the trees revealing the Spotify logo above the treetops.
